The Ananta devs held an interview recently following their gameplay debut at Tokyo Game Show 2025, that went over quite a of new information that had never been revealed, but was often speculated about.

✔️A confirmation on the removal of character Gacha.
✔️Future character additions
✔️A heavy narrative-focus
✔️How every new character will have their own story
✔️Every character will have a separate job outside of the story
✔️Different, individually-tailored leveling system for every character
✔️Pricing structure (Gacha, paid cosmetics, etc.,)
✔️The style and detail of the city
✔️Influences for the game (Jackie Chan!!!)
✔️The TGS 2025 Demo
✔️The combat style for each character
✔️Future content in the form of cities, regions and continents
✔️The size of the dev team (700-800 now which is wild.)

Ananta is shaping up to be something special. I can’t wait to see what happens with it in 2026.
