Kaiju No. 8: The Game is an upcoming free-to-play Gacha game based on the popular Kaiju No. 8 Manga and Anime by Naoya Matsumoto. It features turn-based combat, with players controlling a collection of Husbando and Waifu “Anti-Kaiju Defense Force” members, to battle massive Kaiju. It has beautiful visuals, strategic gameplay, and an original storyline expanding the Kaiju No. 8 universe. It is confirmed to be releasing on to iOS, Android, and PC (via Steam) with full cross-play functionality. The game is developed by Akatsuki Games in collaboration with TOHO and Production I.G.
Kaiju No. 8: The Game does not have a confirmed release date at present. The App Store lists a placeholder date of August 31, 2025, but this is likely subject to change, as no official launch date has been announced.
