Aether Dawn is a brand new upcoming (Gacha?) game from ex-Kuro and ex-Hypergryph developers. Both Arknights and Wuthering Waves were listed in their history (not Arknights Endfield or Punishing Gray Raven).

It’s a third-person ARPG with roguelite dungeon-crawler mechanics for replayability. It features fast-paced action with dodging, abilities, and fights against mechs. It looks like it’s going to be set in an open-world.

It’s set in an original cyberpunk-fantasy universe with high-fidelity graphics and striking anime-style visuals. Character designs and UI elements in the screenshots strongly resemble Honkai: Star Rail (March 7) and Wuthering Waves (Jiyan.) While the design of the game more closely resembles Black Beacon.

It is confirmed for PC, Android, and iOS with cross-platform support. Console versions are mentioned as possible but not confirmed.

It’s in very early pre-production. No release date, full trailer, or beta announced yet. Screenshots show the current state of character models, UI, and basic combat, which still look VERY rough.

The game is backed by Arbitrum Gaming Ventures and BitCraft Ventures. The team aims to build Aether Dawn into a long-lasting IP rather than a one-off game.

Pre-registration is not currently open, and there is no confirmed release date as of June 2026. Beta tests are speculated to begin in 2027 with a potential release date in 2028.
